I have created a Facebook group for our class. This page will be used for posting learning videos, sharing pictures, communicating with parents and students, and keeping everyone in the know! All About Your Teacher!

My name is Mrs. Hailey Bryant, and I am so blessed and excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher! Teaching is my passion, and its what I LOVE to do. Everyday is a new adventure that I get to experience with my sweet firsties! I want your child's learning to be fun, exciting, and long lasting, and I hope to instill in them a life long love for learning. 

Teacher Bio:

I am a product of Desoto County Schools, and I have lived in Desoto County my entire life. I grew up in different parts of the county, but I spent most of my years learning in Olive Branch and Horn Lake. I graduated in 2007 from Horn Lake High School. After graduating I immediately started college at Northwest Community College where I received my Associate's of Arts degree. I then went to the University of Mississippi (GO REBS!) where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from college I immediately starting seeking a job with Desoto County Schools, because I wanted to teach in the same wonderful district that I grew up learning in. What an answered prayer it was to be hired to work for DCS in 2013. I began my teaching career at Southaven Elementary where I taught 2nd grade for one year. I then transferred to the most amazing school, Lake Cormorant Elementary, where I have been ever since. 

Life as a Gator:

I have taught at LCES for many years, and I have loved every second of my time at this wonderful school. I have taught 1st grade since I became a Gator, and it is by far my favorite grade to teach. There is so much learning and new adventures that we experience in 1st grade at LCES. Our learning and growth that takes place in the swamp EVERY single day is my favorite. Especially the learning that takes place on the Green Hall!

A few things about me:

I live in Horn Lake, MS where I have my own little home. I am married to my wonderful husband, Johnny Mack. We have 2 dogs, Brooksie and Boo Boo. I love painting, going to church, hanging out with my friends and family, and of course teaching. My favorite sport is college football, and I enjoy cheering on my Ole Miss Rebels!  When I am not teaching I also enjoy relaxing at home, fishing with my husband, and shopping at my favorite stores!
